Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

Mr. and Mrs. Gourmand atop a large Renault truck. Cosmetically redone to good advertising standards. Runs and drives. Fantastic. One of several old vehicles preserved from the Caravane Publicitaire that accompanied the Tour de France Cycliste offered today from the collection of Mr. Le Lonquer. No Reserve.

Market commentary

The float cost less than the modifications to expand the garage to accommodate it, but thats hardly the point. A fantastic creation emblematic of the time before cyclistes began to recycle blood for oxygen enhancement (and other bizarre performance enhancements.) Wild and worth whatever it brought.
