Equipment
Jump seats, sliding divider, wide whitewalls, inset rear spare, radio. Poorly masked old repaint. Front seat recovered, rear looks original. Throughout this cars history it has been described as a Lincoln built for Clara Ford (Mrs. Henry) but here it was described as used by Mrs. Edsel Ford and described as a Continental. Regularly updated with new sheet metal and trim through 1948, cosmetically maintained but never restored and only 18,728 miles on it. Surprisingly ugly, if practical. Al Wiseman Collection. No Reserve.
Market commentary
Sold for $46,200 by Kruse in Arizona in 1998, then a no sale at Barrett Jackson a year later. It has gotten no better with time and the confused description did nothing to enhance bidders confidence in its presentation. The seller is fortunate to get this much for it.
