322ci flathead V8 original rebuilt engine on 124 wheelbase coupe with jump seat in the back. Rear mounted spare, running boards, am radio clock. Wide whitewalls with full disc hub caps. Front bumper over rider held on with a zip lock tie. Body, paint, glass, chrome, inside, outside, under carriage in show condition. Restored at a cost $80,000, seller Harold Henninger, a Calgary, Canadian dealer was looking for $50,000 on this unit which won a first place in the 2004 Calgary World of Wheels show.
Market commentary
Kruse Vegas did not appear to have the buyers in the audience for mid 30s iron. The buyer drove off with a real bargain, the seller licked his wounds.
