Equipment
Supercharged, pre selector gearbox, steel wheels. One of 184 built, found in Hawaii during WWII and brought back by a serviceman who started its restoration but never completed it. Passed through several subsequent owners but never finished until the most recent owners survivors finished it as a tribute to their ancestor. Very nice but inconsistent. New paint and interior but engine and chassis are aged and not impressive. Not a concours winner but a very presentable local show or tour car. According to Malks book 32410S was not originally supercharged.
Market commentary
This Cord illustrates the problem of a long term restoration: by the time the last of it is finished the work done first needs to be done over. A handsome and thoughtfully restored car that will never be truly concours condition. For what it is (and its non original supercharger), this is all the money and then some.
