Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

The Phaeton is the rarest and most sought after Cord. Supercharged Lycoming V8, front wheel drive and Gordon Buehrigs design all contribute to its desirability. The 8 month old concours restoration is essentially perfect with an ACD 1st to show for it.

Market commentary

Consignor turned down a reported high bid of $120K at Kruse last weekend and netted a nice profit for the weeks wait. This is the top of Cord market, in both model and condition.
