Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

Trippe lights, chrome wire wheels, blackwall tires, separate luggage trunk, dual chrome wrapped sidemounts, polished hood louvers, hammer finish interior handles and hardware, exquisite wood. Flawed older exterior paint but fabulous, inviting, attractive interior. Excellent chrome. Handsome coachwork from an older Duesenberg mounted on this chassis, the 4th from last built) when new. Uniquely adorned with beautiful wood interior door frames. Said to run and drive extremely well. A very desirable car.

Market commentary

This is an outstanding price for a closed Duesenberg, but it is an outstanding closed Duesenberg, in design, performance and presentation, and worth every penny.
