Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

Not very well restored to begin with and aging badly. Two cylinders bored out and sleeved due to severe rust pitting, Old, chipped and scratched paint with quick respray of curb damage on wheels. Thin, rusty windshield trim, dead seals, poor repair to right front fender scuff. Dead, dry rotted, torn interior, faded and scratched dashboard. Needs everything. No Reserve.

Market commentary

A faded, neglected and mistreated lady. The result here is all that could possibly be expected for a Westchester in this condition. The car was re run later as 1464, a no sale at $31,000, which sounds a lot like terminal buyers remorse, and showed up at the Hershey auction a month later where it was reported sold for $37,400.
