Equipment
Fleet Economy Engine, heater, defroster fan, single sidemount, 17 wheels, whitewall, 5.25 5.50 tires, solid front axle. Mediocre old repaint, poorly fitted upholstery over springs that werent replaced or retied. Rusty trim chrome. Dirty older restored chassis. Sound body. Disorderly underdash wiring. Indifferent, aged presentation of an interesting car.
Market commentary
This is something of a grunt in both its original configuration and its condition but an intriguing example of Depression adaptations of which few have survived. It needs (and deserves) comprehensive attention. Spend $25,000 on it and itll be worth $35,000. Its not a rewarding financial equation but has social value and generates psychic income for preserving a significant piece of American automobile history. Bravo to the buyer.
