Equipment
RHD. Maroon wire wheels, single rer mounted spare folding windshield with dual aeroscreens, Wilson preselector gearbox. Restored in the UK in the 1960s and showing the age of its restoration but also careful used and consistent care, the car is clean, sharp, tidy and appears to be ready to be taken out and driven enthusiastically. No Reserve.
Market commentary
IMPs are particularly attractive cars in the classic, semi streamlined British open sports style, like a Jaguar SS90 or 100 that shrank after careless washing. They also are particularly rare, with only about 75 built, which together with their looks accounts for their premium over, say, an MG Midget. This is a representative result and the new owner should feel very proud of an astute acquisition that will be an entry ticket to all sorts of events both here and on the other side of the Atlantic.
