Chrome wire wheels, Dual sidemounted spares with painted metal covers, chrome rings and mirrors, jump seats, outside exhaust headpipes. Coachwork by Murphy updated by Bohman & Schwartz. New chrome all over and a cosmetic respray that doesnt even attempt to look like a thorough color change with poor masking of the aluminum beltline. The underside has been paint detailed. The interior reeks of mothballs and has been chewed up by little critters. Owned many years by John Dennis, engine rebuilt by Jim Hoe long ago. ACD Category One. . Wherever this car was unearthed the seller spent money on maximum visual impact.
Market commentary
Despite the freshening that was done, this car has seen too much work to quality as original and needs a thorough restoration. The buyers were understandably conservative, but it looks like a solid project, has complete history and should be worth what will be invested to make it presentable once again.
