Dietrich body, opening vee windscreen, dual sidemounts, divider window. One of 20 built. Subtle restoration in grey lets the coachwork (and big V12 engine) make the impression, which it does. Concours Fran Roxas restoration, still essentially perfect.

Market commentary

Hammer price of $195K is in the middle of Christies $170 225,000 estimate and reasonable. The final price of $217K with commission is on the stiff side, but at either price this fine and classic design isnt a bad deal ... it just could be better.
