Market commentary
This is a particularly beautiful example of the relationship between street rodding and making fast passes on the dry lakes. The restoration is above reproach, as confirmed by many show awards. It incorporates a number of subtle details (like the muffled exhaust pipes exiting through the belly pan) which makes it especially enjoyable to contemplate. It sold for $385,000 at RMs Monterey auction in 2007. It is a much better buy today.
