Equipment

Dual sidemounts, Quail radiator cap, radiator guard, wind wings, luggage rack. Fair repaint over old chipped paint, wheels repainted over rust pits. Fair older interior. Good chrome. Not a highly impressive restoration but sound and presentable and a very rare and unusual Model A. Late Saturday.

Market commentary

A replacement lot for a 67 Shelby GT500, apparently not noticed by some bidders. This is a highly unusual body style. In comparison with the Model As massive production only 6,175 2 door phaetons were built, 2,229 of them in 1931. The price is fair to all concerned. The new owners proud of his perception as he should be.
