Equipment

Engine swapped from J337. Body number 843. Frame and firewall numbered 2363. Luggage trunk, Pilot Rays. Excellent cosmetics but some scratches and cracks under paint on lead filler. Shows some miles and age. Right headlight reflector yellowed. A pretty spectacular car and very attractive coachwork.

Market commentary

There are numerous fine distinctions in the subtle study of Duesenberg values which are best left to those with: a) the experience to appreciate them; and b) the money to buy them. This is a handsome and unusual Duesenberg but it seems to have been fully valued at the reported high bid.
