Market commentary
A spectacular and unique open Duesenberg J which brought an equally spectacular price. This result is just $100,000 shy of the top all time Duesenberg auction price: the Fran Roxas restored Walker LaGrande convertible coupe (2560, J534) at RMs Arizona Auction in 2005. J534s restoration was barely a year old at the time of its sale and J168 has over 13 years on its restoration, which conclusively endorses the allure of J168s unique coachwork.
