Market commentary
Estate of John OQuinn. It is hard to fault in any significant way this car, its coachwork or the bidders willingness to stand up and be counted when it came to writing the check. Three and a half years ago RM sold it to John OQuinn for $1,650,000 ($1,500,000 hammer) as both the collector car market and OQuinns car collecting gathered steam. It held its value well in the intervening years and topped RMs pre sale high estimate.
