Equipment
Disc wheels, rear mounted spare, wide whitewalls, rumble seat, radiator stone guard, Trippe lights, golf bag door, Woodlites. Reportedly the only Packard 640 with finned and vented brakes. A very unusual car that has been sympathetically restored yet remains largely original. Has its original Edison spark plugs and brake linings. In very good condition for the age of its restoration (in 1976) except for cracked accent paint on the drivers door.
Market commentary
A piece of history and an exceptionally attractive and rare sporting Packard that was recognized by the Biltmore bidders for its value and brought a deserved premium price.
