An old restoration with cosmetic touchup and freshening but amazingly well preserved. Charming details like old hardware and fittings. Documented back to its discovery and restoration in the 1960s. Not up to current restoration standards but way too sweet to be redone. No Reserve.

This unique Model A missed the mark with the Scottsdale bidders, a surprising oversight by usually perceptive collectors. The buyer did very well at this price and will have a showpiece at any Ford or commercial vehicle gathering. Unfortutely the buyer was the seller.
