Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

Edelbrock heads, Harman & Collins magneto, Italmeccanica blower, center steering, three 97s, homemade wheel discs, frame rails and roll bar wrapped with vinyl electrical tape, transverse leaf suspension at both ends. De stroked and over bored Merc flathead devised by Tom Sparks to coax revs out of Henrys torque monster and reputed to turn 7,000 rpm in fabled trimmer Tony Nancys T bodied Deuce rail roadster with early roll cage, Zephyr close ratio gears. Turned high 10s. Excellent paint, chrome and interior. Not concours but very show able at all but the snootiest events.

Market commentary

The money was waiting for this marvel, and it took a chunk of it to bring it home. Historic barely begins to describe this car.
