Market commentary
Sold by RM at Meadow Brook in 2006 for $907,500 with ten miles on the odometer since then (probably on a pre cataloging test drive.) A rare, pure Duesenberg with engine, frame and firewall as they came out of the Indiapolis shop in 1929 and its origil Murphy coachwork. The buyer should feel very good about this purchase both from the inherent quality of the car itself and for its superb restoration. At this price it is all the car the money can expect to buy.
