Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

Chrome wire wheels, dual sidemounts, Pilot Rays, rumble seat, luggage rack. Presentable older restoration with a brush engine block repaint. Acne on drivers door. A sound older restoration thats not ready for the show field any more but is more than simply usable. Body originally on Philip K. Wrigleys 2177 (J121), traded for this chassis original LeBaron sweep panel phaeton coachwork in 31 or so.

Market commentary

Sold to a phone bidder (from the Continent) who must have wanted it badly to stay up til 2 AM to bid. All the money for it, but Ed Fallon of B J was underbidder at $470K, so its not unreasonable.
