Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

RHD. One of only two known surviving bodies by Parkes, origill built for Lady Mildmay White for estate use. Two door wood passenger compartment with removable rear seat and body extension for utility use. Stored many years, with a cosmetic restoration after it was discovered in the late 60s. Comes with full weather equipment. Some recent mechanical work, new tires and top. A sound, usable and very unusual old restoration thats been well cared for.

Market commentary

The appearance of such an unusual and highly origil wood bodied car in the States on a US chassis would produce more than this amount of enthusiasm among woodie enthusiasts. Although the Morris topped its high estimate (albeit by only +200) it appears the level of excitment generated by woodies in England isnt of comparable magnitude as in the States.
