Equipment
Painted wire wheels, wide whitewall tires, Bausch & Lomb drum headlights, rumble seat, leather upholstery, originally purchased by J.P. Morgan Jr.
Condition
A decent but far from concours old restoration with newer paint, interior, top and chrome. Freshly painted assembled with some erratic masking. Looks good at ten feet and on the highway at 60 mph.
Market commentary
The difference between J.P. Morgan and his junior is more than significant, and that makes this Piccadilly Roadster the plaything of the F. Scott Fitzgerald generation, not the coach of one of the foremost captains of finance. Not a bad thing, just something to be kept in mind. Realistic price.
