Lovely vee radiator Benz with opulent Castagna body (cost $28,000 in 1927) and documented history. Grebel headlamps and spotlight. Very original and clean. No Reserve.

Market commentary

The Castagna body and intricate detailing softens the Teutonic image of the big Mercedes Benz. Several bidders competed for this prize before it eventually was hammered sold to Germany.
