RHD. One of some 94 built for voiturette racing wtih dohc 1,083cc inline four, dual Solex carbs, Scintilla magneto. An old restoration, museum displayed since the late 60s and in need of attention throughout but sound and complete. Max Lips Collection.

Market commentary

This Lombard is the kind of car that will be welcome at almost any historic race meeting. It has style and a lot of Gallic creativity. The bidders at Goodwood must have been licking their Lips in anticipation of this car and threw Bonhams estimate in the ashcan. This is a strong, but deserved, price.
