Fishpond Farms Fire Dept. Copper tank, brass rails and bell, nozzles, extinguishers and more. Crazed, curdled paint but very sound and origil. An extremely charming piece that has been left alone except for some pre auction brass and copper polishing. No Reserve.
Market commentary
This is an exceptiolly charming piece, not only because it is origil and remarkably preserved but also because it has all the charm and appeal of fire trucks in a compact and enjoyable package. The bidders latched onto it and paid plenty, but it is impossible to argue with their enthusiasm.
