Equipment

RHD. Nickel trim, CAV lights, nickel wire wheels, Bell trumpet Boa Constrictor horn, double Elliott speedo, colonial chassis. A well maintained older restoration with good paint, interior and nickel that is showing some age. Bad paint cracks on right front fender and on left rear door. First owned by the Maharaja of Patiala. Found by Jothan Harley in India in 1985, driven out of the country, then restored by Harley in England for Richard Solove. Richard Solove Collection, proceeds to Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center. No Reserve.

Market commentary

This got things off to a good start, hammering sold well over the high estimate and putting everyone on notice that something extraordiry was happening.
