Equipment
42hp 4 cylinder, 4 speed, Jones speedometer, modern 12v electric starter and altertor, rebuilt magneto. Runs and drives with recent mechanical work. Preserved not restored and very impressive, appears to have had much recent mechanical work and rebuilt wood spoke wheels, otherwise origil and aged. Sound and easily restored but better left as is and enjoyed on the road. Will always be the center of attention.
Market commentary
This was one of the stars of the show, an exceptiolly unusual, large horsepower, impressively origil but mechanically ready to go touring car. Unfortutely not many people had heard of a Michigan, and even fewer were aware of the companys checkered history including a velvet payroll padded with hundreds of non existant employees while another company officer was wagering on real ponies with company money, not the ones under the Model Rs hood. Owning a Michigan is worth way more than the reported bid here just for the big helping of Kalamazoo scandal. The car is pretty nice, too
