Equipment
Nickel trim. First owned by Howard Marmon, while may be why it displaces 354 cubic inches and has a Zenith carburetor and is estimated to make over 70hp instead of the standard Marmon 32s 241 cubic inches and 59hp. Known history from new. First restored in 1956, featured in The Swan with Grace Kelly and Agnes Morehead. Later owned by Harrahs. Most recently redone in 1999 and driven some 11,000 miles since, including completing the Colorado Grand. Has been timed on its GPS based speedo at 78+mph. Outfitted for touring with modern speedo, tach, oil pressure gauge and GPS. Good cosmetics and very presentable for tours and events, if not show quality.
Market commentary
This is an exceptionally neat old car with performance to make the most enthusiastic owner happy. These old crocks bring smiles to the faces of just about everyone who sees them chug by, fenders shaking and passengers hanging on for dear life. 78 mph in this rear wheel brake behemoth is a daunting concept; this is a small price to pay to experience it.
