Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

RHD. Stored in Australia for half a century, found complete except for missing carb and restored some time ago. Toured and shown since. Electric starter, Bleriot lighting, jump seats, full weather equipment. Very complete, fully equipped. Shows its age and use but still very presentable.

Market commentary

Delauney Bellevilles background was in construction of steam boilers, particularly for ships and yachts (including the royal yacht Victoria and Albert.) That might explain the characteristic round radiator once they began building very high quality automobiles in 1904. This D Bs history and originality are exceptional and its price is representative for a high quality, adequately powerful, automobile of its era.
