Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

Long unused and neglected, missing its lights. Paint cracked, upholstery cracked but leather mudguards just need restitching. Reputedly all original and unrestored, which is pretty remarkable for its condition and has lots of potential with not a lot of effort. Acquired by the Museum of Science and Industry in 1932 through the efforts of Charles E. Duryea from the original owner in Calais, Maine and aside from being cleaned up when it arrived it has had little or not attention at all. No Reserve.

Market commentary

Great provenance and impressively original, a little piece of history that brought an appropriate if expensive price.
