Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

RHD. Well restored and very presentable tiller steered motor carriage. Not VCC dated, however, and looks and is described to suggest a rather comprehensive re construction (not unusual for a car of this age.)

Market commentary

Considering this de Dion Boutons age, very good condition and potential to participate in the Brighton Run this price is very reasonable. Without a VCC dating its highest and best use (driving through frigid drizzle from London Brighton) is uncertain, however. A successful dating might increase its value by $10 20K.
