Barrett-Jackson’s Scottsdale auction of seven cars, each a first of their kind, had the potential to make a lot of charities quite a bit of money. Now that the auctions have wrapped up and the totals are in, we can sum up the sales: All told, the six auctions gathered more than $5M.

The biggest sale went to the highly anticipated GMC Hummer EV, which brought in an impressive $2.5M. The all-electric super truck will be available later this year, and each launch editions come fully loaded with the most power, the beefiest tech, and poshest options. Bidders also stepped up for two first-of-their-kind Fords. The first two-door Bronco brought in $1,075,000, and the first 2021 Mach 1 sold for $500,000. VIN #001 of Ram’s Hellcat-powered TRX netted $410,000, while the first copies of Cadillac’s CT4-V Blackwing and CT5-V Blackwing super sedans brought $165,000 and $265,000, respectively.

Finally, the first C8 Chevrolet Corvette convertible, the first Corvette with a retractable hardtop, sold for $400,000.

This was Barrett-Jackson’s largest single showing of VIN #001 models so far. It might be a while before we can see such a repeat, but there are always interesting models on the horizon. Perhaps we’ll see the first ZR2 Silverado at next year’s sale.
