With most of the January auctions going virtual this year, we took our annual Scottsdale seminar and made it virtual! Join moderator Brad Phillips as he discusses the 2020 collector car market with Wayne Carini of Chasing Classic Cars, Alain Squindo, COO of RM Sotheby’s, and Dave Kinney, publisher of the Hagerty Price Guide.

Wayne Carini
Master car restorer Wayne Carini has a resume that includes body and paintwork on many of the world’s rarest cars. He has been featured in the New York Times as well as numerous automobile magazines, and is the host of Chasing Classic Cars, in its tenth season on Discovery’s Velocity channel. Wayne owns and operates F40 Motorsports, F40 Restoration, and Carini Consulting, where Wayne advises and manages collections for clients around the world.

Dave Kinney
Beginning in his early teens, Dave Kinney worked at a dealership that sold classic and exotic cars. Although he was “bored with school,” he couldn’t get enough of the history, backstories, and characters surrounding cars. During the past 25 years, Kinney has owned hundreds of collector vehicles and has participated in the sale, repair, and valuation of all types of automobiles. One of the country’s leading automobile valuation authorities, he is an accredited automobile appraiser and the publisher of the “Hagerty Price Guide.”

Alain Squindo
Alain joined RM Sotheby’s after graduating from Georgetown and was raised in a family of enthusiasts, immersed in the collector car industry his entire life. After three years serving as Vice President, he was appointed the role of COO. Born and raised in Zurich but now living in Detroit, he has an affinity for both European sports cars and American pony cars and counts a ’66 Mustang notchback and ’82 Ferrari 400iA in his collection of B-list collector cars!
