April 17th Is National Mustang Day

The Ford Mustang was formally introduced to the world on April 17th, 1964 at the New York World’s Fair. This year’s Mustang Day begins the countdown the the Mustang’s 40th Anniversary Celebration in Nashville, Tennessee, April 15th-18th, 2004.

On Mustang Day, enthusiasts are encouraged to have fun with their Pony Car(s). Possible activities include putting a Mustang display at your local Ford dealer, visiting a school with your car to encourage and inspire the future generation of Mustangers, having a birthday party complete with cake and ice cream, or just taking a cruise.
