Ask anyone what car pops into their head when you mention “Chevy Chevelle” and you’ll most likely get 1970 SS 454 LS6. Why is that? Well, in 1970 Chevrolet decided to play its trump card over the other auto manufacturers by introducing the 454 big-block and squeezing 450 hp out of it, making the LS6 the most powerfully rated car of the muscle car era. Naturally, then, these cars are highly collectible. Even after the market correction of 2007-08, this particular car represents a decent investment today.
