Where Collectors Turn For 4-1-1

Last month’s insta-poll asked: Where do you go for hobby information? The #1 answer was the Internet, with 44 percent using their mice to find the answers to questions like where to buy and sell a collector car; who’s got what parts for my ride; and is there anyone out there who is a collector like me and wants to chat about events – or anything for that matter.

The Hagerty site pulled in 20 percent of the vote, and we thank all of you who use our site for hobby happenings. We’re packing the website more and more all the time with useful articles, how-to’s, tips, shop contacts and the stuff good hobby sites are made of.

Some of you (13 percent) look to your car club members and club publications for the happenings on car stuff, which proves that clubs are a great way to learn more about the hobby. Meeting other members at events and being able to talk to people who share a common interest is a good thing.

Some pollsters sent in websites they deem worthy, which include www.stovebolt.com, www.chevytalk.com and North American Spitfire Squadron message board, at www.nasshq.org.
