1964 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport, True born SS, 327 / 300 Horsepower V8 Engine, 4 Speed Manual Transmission, Power Steering, Disc Brakes, All New Chrome, re-chromed bumpers, emblems are in excellent condition. In 1964 the Impala Super Sport was now its own line versus a Belair trim model. 1964’s had different side molding, unique wheels covers and the SS emblem on the rear quarters, all-vinyl interior with bucket seats and center console. The 1963 lowered center theme on the 1963 trunk moved to the front for 1964, and the trunk deck became flat. From the center of the hood clear to the taillights was a newly designed chrome strips which were located three on each side with a stamped alloy panel in between. Features included tinted glass, Impala comfort and convenience group, power brakes, power steering. Original spare tire tool kit. Cherry bomb mufflers.
