1954 Ford F-100
I bought this pickup when I was 12 from a farmer in Missouri. It was an old hot rod with a 352 Thunderbird engine and the thickest pearl paint I have ever seen. As a teenager, I worked with my dad to refurbish it and turn it into a 1960s style drag racer. It has a 390 Ford, 4-speed, lift bars, and fiberglass tilt front end. It is far from a finished product! One day I would like to drop the front end down so it has a nice rake and more of an early 70s street machine vibe - maybe with a panel paint job and some lace and fish scales!
Upholstery and interior
Fiberglass low-back bucket seats with diamond pleat vinyl upholstery.
Wheels and tires
Cragars up front with some period correct bias ply tires. On the rear - fully revered 15x10 5.5 on 5 wheels custom ordered from Weld back in the 70s with some wide Mickey Thompson DOT drag tires.
Stock rebuilt drums all around.
