1973 Porsche 911 RS 2.7
Porsche RS #1526 is an M472 Touring Edition RS which was completed 06/1973 and delivered to Mr. Fasano in Brindisi, Italy. In the early 80's, when the Japanese Yen was very strong against most every other currency in the world, the car went to Japan. While in Japan the owner did a refurbish to bring the car up to Japan driving standards. This meant adding appropriate dated coded RS parts to the car. Parts included High Back Sport Seats, Retractable Seat Belts, Passenger Side Mirror, AM-FM Cassette Becker Mexico Radio, Power Antenna and Electric Windows so it would be easier to pay tolls from a left hand drive car. Not exactly sure on timing but at some point the car went to France and owned by Mr. Roche. While in France the car underwent the Porsche Product Specification. Finally the car was brought to the United States by Dr. Fodor and driven on many tours before selling the car to us, Shella & Joseph Salvo in Newport Beach, CA.
