1970 Land Rover 88 Series II Santana. 4x4 part-time (rear permanent, front engaged manually in off-road conditions), transfer case 2.35/1.15, 77 hp ( DIN SAE ), torque: 124 lb-ft. Left hand-drive was built under license by Metalúrgica de Santa Ana S.A. in Spain. It was acquired by the seller in 2020, reportedly from the family of its original owner, and received a body-off refurbishment in Colombia prior to being imported to the US in 2022. Thought by many to be the most hardy series model constructed- The series IIA. The type of classic Land Rover that features strongly in the general public's perception of the Land Rover, from its many appearances in popular films and television documentaries set in Africa. Equipment includes a removable tan soft top with roll-up sides, 16″ steel wheels, manually-locking front hubs, a hood-mounted spare tire, and troop-style rear seats. This Santana is now offered with a clean American title in the seller’s name.
