Another creation of world renowned car innovator John Z DeLorean. The First year of 1st generation Firebird featured a nose that was topped with a beautiful chrome loop bumper surrounding four headlights. Motor Trend ran a 400 with a Turbo Hydra-matic transmission at 0-60 mph in 7.5 seconds and 15.4 seconds for a quarter mile at 92 mph. The Pontiac Firebird has a theoretical top speed of 161 mph. However, the Firebird is equipped with a speed limiter, so the vehicle will max out between 113 and 118 mph. Newer Upper and Lower A arms & bushings. New front shocks. Innovative rear trailing arms reverse mount to rear end axle housing helps the rear tires grab the pavement. Car runs and drives great. Very Nice Pontiac Firebird.
