Starting life as a new GT convertible with leather upholstery, “Bullitt” style aluminum wheels finished in black and wearing with P235/55ZR18 performance tires. California Special front fascia, the cars were delivered to the Shelby American factory in Las Vegas, where two-man production teams converted the V-8 Mustangs into Shelbys. Functionally wise each 2007 Shelby GT-H was equipped with Ford Racing’s Handling Package that added a strut-tower brace, larger sway bars, lowered springs and firmer ride tuning.. Like all 2007 Hertz Shelbys, this car is equipped with an AM/FM/CD stereo, power convertible top and power windows, door locks and driver’s seat. Brakes Front: 12.4 in. vented disc, dual-piston caliper. Rear: 11.8 in. vented disc, single-piston caliper ABS: Four-channel ABS system, linked to all-speed traction control.

Paint and exterior

Black Ebony paint set off with Gold Le Mans dual racing stripes and Shelby GT-H rocker stripes. Updated exterior with a vented “deep-draw” hood with click-pins, a handsomely plain grille with the running-horse badge offset on the driver’s side, a convertible light bar and bold Shelby block letters on the trunk lid.

4.6 Liter V8 Engine / 325 Horsepower 330 ft lbs @ 5750 rpm . Updated 3 valve V-8 and Whipple supercharger, both of these modifications performed by a Ford technician. Low-restriction Ford Racing mufflers and an X-shape crossover pipe provided the growl, while 3:55:1 rear gearing supplied improved torque multiplication. Ford Racing cold-air kit and tuning.
