Unveiled in 1964, GM's redesigned A-body intermediately received great reviews. A new design consisting of a full frame unit-body chassis while providing Chevrolet a means to supply a "compact" model of its own. Praised for its clean body lines, well-balanced handling, overall comfort and available powertrain combinations, the Chevelle had made History. For 1965 only mild visual refinements were made, a more angular front end and sportier tail panel.

Paint and exterior

Body is Finished in Tuxedo Black Paint over good sheet metal. Very nice trunk and pans. All the chrome and trim and grill and doorhandles exterior and interior and bumpers are in excellent condition. SS emblems.

Upholstery and interior

Red SS Vinyl Interior with Bucket seats and Center Console, Electric clock. Very clean dash with newer original style gauges. Newer front and rear door panels. Great carpeting and headliner.

Heavy duty spark plug wires with heat resistant sleeves on the plug-ends.
