1971 Buick GS Gran Sport Convertible
Second generation, Buick GS based on a Skylark Custom. Now remembered as one of GM’s premier muscle cars. 350 / 3 speed automatic. Options Include Factory, Air Conditioning, Power Windows, Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes, Factory Gauges, Bench Seat, Dual Sport Mirrors and Chrome Buick Rallye Wheels with BF Goodrich White Letter Radial T/A Tires. The GS also had heavy-duty suspension, Rallye Firm Ride and Handling. Posi Traction rear axle, 3.08 gears.

Upholstery and interior
Original Black Vinyl Interior in excellent condition. Split bench seat. Nice faux wood accents on door panels, dash and steering wheel. Black Power Convertible Top.
Engine
Original Engine: Unknown
350 V8 Engine. 4-barrel carburetor 260 HP. 375 ft lbs torque. Compression ratio 8.5:1. Born for low-lead and unleaded fuel, functional hood scoops/ cold air induction & dual exhaust. Similar in displacement to the Chevy 350, Pontiac 350, or Oldsmobile 350; the Buick 350 V8 is a completely different design. Deep-skirt cylinders, front-mounted distributor, external oil pump. Cylinder heads were very tall and skinny, creates increased flow. Same ram-air induction system as the GS400 big block V8.
