1959 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible

First Generation. C1 Corvette. 1,542 built in this configuration. Factory Air Conditioning. Hand laid fiberglass body. Original 283 small block. White Convertible Top. Undercarriage looks great. Black factory steel wheels with correct Corvette hubcaps. Thick white wall tires. Excellent mechanical condition runs and drives great. The new sports car, that was to become “America’s Sports Car. Was named after the corvette, a small maneuverable warship. The first model, a convertible, was introduced at the 1953 GM Motorama as a concept car. Reverse tear drop shaped rear tail lights with chrome trim. Out rear bumper exhaust. Gill - like Open vents on the fenders or a main part of this cars overall outstanding body design.

Older basecoat clearcoat Roman Red paint drivers quality, presents well. Chrome bumpers, the widemouth grill all trim and emblems in good condition.

Upholstery and interior

Cockpit like - Red interior in great, but not perfect condition bucket seats, floor shifter with Ashtray. Chrome dash mounted rear traffic view mirror. Very nice dash with large Tachometer front and center. Vinyl dash pad in very good condition. Nice door panels, carpeting and contrasting White Convertible Top.
