1969 Chevelle Super Sport

Very few changes between 68 and 69. One of the most prominent features is the jagged almost triangular rear side window next to the backseat. 396 Big Block V8 Engine. Edelbrock performer intake manifold. Original chrome valve cover gaskets. Headers. The last production year for the 396 was 1969. In 1970 the 396 was bored and stroked out to 402. They still carried the 396SS badges. The 396 was a significant part of Chevys success, first appearing in super rare 210 1965 Malibus, in competing against the other big 2. With a 4 barrel carburetor.
