Car was owned by Rodger Ausley owner of “Ausleys Chevelle Parts” and 1 of the top 12 experts on Chevelle Malibu and Chevelle Super Sports with over 50 years in the industry. This was his personal car. Believed to be 12,000 original miles on the car before the resto mod work. Nut and bolt no expense spared Professional frame off restoration. Custom aluminum radiator by “Tapp Inc”. Coke Bottle style body. Modern retro fit radio with WiFi, usb cable and more. Dry Cell Battery mounted in the trunk never worry about battery acid damage to the vehicle.

Born code C Ermine white paint sprayed over perfect sheet metal. Excellent lines and gaps. Doors, hood and trunk close as if brand new.
Upholstery and interior
All “ Original “ blue interior. Bench seat. Column shifter. 775 ~ Dk. Turquoise Renville Cloth, Med. Turquoise Imitation Leather (13617-39-69) - [33,154]. Beautiful seat upholstery, door panels, dash pad, & headliner. Dash Gauge cluster is perfect. Correct factory original steering wheel. Carpeting has a few spots only to be expected when it is 56 years old.
Engine

2009 Z06 Corvette motor. 650 HP. Custom made headers from “Street and Performance”. “Pypes” stainless steel exhaust system. Custom milled aluminum driveshaft.

Transmission
Street Monster 6L80 automatic transmission from Pontiac GB. Fluid turbine drive torque converter - features a lock-up pressure plate for direct mechanically coupled driving from the engine crank. Earlier GM automatic transmissions were virtually all based on hydraulic controls, and received increasing electrical elements to improve them. The 6L80 was, from the ground up, electric over hydraulic transmission with microprocessor control.
