1972 Pontiac GTO RESTO MOD

From 1963-1974 (introduced in 64) the original GTO by the Pontiac division of GM (2004 - 2006) prowled the streets with authoritative power. The 1964 GTO is credited by many as starting the muscle car wars. This GTO has Paperwork PHS DOCS (Pontiac Historical Society), Power Steering, New Brake Booster & Fluid Reserve, Power Front Disk Brakes, Factory Air Conditioning, heavy duty rear suspension with boxed trailing arms and sway bar. 10 bolt posi rear end. New gas tank. Dual exhaust with Flowmaster muffler. Very nice interior with woodgrain accents.

Paint and exterior

Very nice Cameo 11 White paint on great sheet metal. Split straight line grille. Very nice front and rear bumpers, trim, emblems, exterior door handles. Functional cool air dual hood scoops. Recessed rear bumper. Recessed Wraparound rectangular tail lights incorporating side turn signal light and back up lights. Recessed front running lights.

Upholstery and interior

Black vinyl interior with hi back Bucket seats and Center Console / cubby storage with Floor Shifter & woodgrain. Newer complete dash with gauge cluster and gauges. Woodgrain insert. Perfect headliner. Good carpeting. Door panels with wood grain Accent and pull strap.

L78 400 Cubic Inch Block. Aluminum HIgh Performance Heads. New camshaft. 9:5.1 compression pistons. Estimated net horsepower 335 with 360 - lbs.ft. of torque (net). Double snorkel air cleaner. Nicely painted block.
