1941 Chevrolet 1/2 Ton Pick-up

First year of series. Deluxe Trim. True hot rod style built truck, take a vehicle and add parts from different vehicles to make it better and faster. Super clean undercarriage. New aftermarket 1947 - 1955 3100 Chevy Frame, 1955 Chevy 1/2 Ton Rear Axle. Fresh 1 year build with less than 100 miles since completion, maintaining the Patina look on the exterior. Front Power Disc Brakes, all new Front and Rear Glass, New Gauges and Complete Wiring, GPS Speedometer. The Chevrolet AK Series, light duty truck sold under the Chevrolet brand, from 1941 - 1947. GM A platform. The AK series started the appearance split between passenger cars and pickup trucks. Prior to 1941 most trucks were just truck bodies set on car chassis. The truck used by the Creeper in the Jeepers Creepers film franchise is a 1941 model of the Chevrolet AK Series COE truck. Beautiful original sheet metal bed with older wood slats and brand new black mounts and hardware. Beautiful Fat teardrop style 5 spoke chrome mags with Dunlop low profile black wall mounted out tires. Runs and drives excellent.

Paint and exterior

Original paint Windsor Blue. Nice sheet metal. Almost completely original steel body, Black running boards & 2 steel fenders, 2 glass repo fenders.

Upholstery and interior

Interior original steel door panels. Brand new window gasket and door weatherstripping. Beautiful recovered bench seat. Amazing original heater / core with “Chevrolet Deluxe” branding. Rebuilt original steering column. Factory steering wheel. Brand new Dolphin gauges in dash. News stainless steel gauge cluster / panel.

Engine

Original Engine: No

1962 261 Inline 6 Engine with Corvette Cam and Solid Lifters, Aluminum Radiator, Rare Motor out of a 2-ton Dump Truck, Weber Carburetor with original GM intake manifold, chrome valve cover, Electronic Ignition. Fenton exhaust manifold. Stainless steel braided fuel lines from the fuel pump. 12 volt battery upgrade. Dual exhaust.

Mileage

There is 100 miles or less on the restoration of this truck. Since the speedometer and the gauge cluster has been replaced we do not have any idea how many original miles are on the vehicle. But with the excellent condition this Truck is in does it really matter. If it was a matching number truck, yes you’d want to know the actual mileage on the truck. Thank you
